Ireland, or the Emerald Isle as it is lovingly called, has become one of the world’s top travel destinations. Town by town, county by county, the magic and mystery of this small island will unfold before your eyes. The natural beauty of Ireland serves as the perfect backdrop for a country where history merges with the legend, where leprechauns and fairies might still be hiding beneath the leaves, and where it is all too easy to get caught up in Ireland’s spellbinding power. A country filled with laughter and song, a land that will literally take your breath away and linger in your heart long after.
Embark on our culinary and cultural experience of Donegal County and the “Wild Atlantic Way” – an unspoiled corner of Ireland. We will end our week in the charming and historic city of Dublin, the social and cultural capital of Ireland. We will spend one night here enjoying the city’s sights and world-class food!
The Irish are more than happy to help you discover their thriving culture, through music, literature, art or architecture. Donegal County is a wild and rugged corner of Ireland, capturing the hearts of everyone who visits. It is a land for the culturally curious and those who appreciate untamed beauty. There, among the moors, mountains, and windswept beaches, artists are endlessly inspired to create works of art in honor of the Wild Atlantic Way.
There is no Irish county more unique and stirring than Donegal, our home base for the week, where the rugged landscape and unbeaten paths lead creative souls to the most magical of hidden artistic treasures. To be moved by this northwestern corner of Ireland is to be changed forever.
Once in County Donegal, we’ll be genuinely welcomed into authentic Irish hospitality for a 6-night stay at the luxurious boutique hotel, Rathmullen House, situated in the small seaside village of Rathmullen, on the Fanad Peninsula.
This uniquely designed trip includes an added artistic experience as we meet foremost Irish painter, Janet Ross, well-known for “The Disappearing Landscapes”. Her works of art are a serene representation of the sublime Atlantic and were recently featured in a BBC documentary.
Carol from Delectable Destinations sets the tone and offers you a wonderful mix of culture, history, luxury, and art while you take in the beauty of Ireland, where land and sea meet in perfect harmony.
The unspoiled grandeur of the north of Ireland is impossible to exaggerate and everyone finds their true heart in Ireland. As the saying goes…”There’s a little bit of Irish in all of us”!
Our mission is to provide personalized attention to each traveller. That’s why our exclusive trips are limited to small groups of passionate travelers.
